Recently, the Congress passed a bill to expand and extend the Conrad program, there are 30 International Medical Graduates per state and effective until May 31, 2004. It is expected that the President signs the bill soon. Once the President signs the bill, the effective date of this bill will go back to May 31, 2002, so these International Medical Graduates will be eligible for J-1 waiver application.
