For the Employment-Based Immigration Petition Form I-140, the INS has made it clear that they will accept the current form (9/26/2000 version) until the end of January 2002. 

From February 1, 2002, the 09/26/2000 version of Form I-140 will be rejected. People will be required to file only the new form of 08/30/2001 version. The new form I-140 incorporates certain features which people see in the current I-129W form. The required petition forms for I-140 petition can be downloaded from links on our web site, www.greencardapply.com, on the right side of the main page.
