Recently, I replied to the RFE questions for my EB1-EA petition. Now I called the IIO and found out that the petition is under "supervisory review". What is the "supervisory review"? does it mean a denial?

It may lead to a denial, it may go to a supervisor prior to a denial being issued. It goes to a supervisor when the officer is not sure of what to do. The case officer wants to a denial going to supervisors first. On the other hand, the supervisor may instruct the officer to approve the case.
