Is there Anything to Avoid Mistakes for B1 Extraordinary Ability Petition?

Hi William:

I ordered your EB1-Extraordinary Ability Do-It-Yourself package, and just finished my petition documents (close and almost). Before I send out my EB1A petition documents to USCIS, is there anything I need to know or be careful to avoid mistakes?

Answer:

You should ensure that I-140 form is completely filled out. You should clearly document in a petition cover letter how you are qualified for this eminent category - EB1Extraordinary Ability.

You should also ensure that you meet at least three of the required criteria as listed in the EB1A criteria. Although meeting three of the ten criteria would not guarantee that you will qualify as an alien of extraordinary ability in the arts, sciences, education, business or athletics, if you cannot satisfy at least three of these items, USCIS cannot approve your petition.
